Man seriously injured after crash involving milk truck, semi

CALUMET COUNTY — Calumet County Sheriff’s officials say a man was seriously injured in a crash involving a milk truck and a semi near U.S. Highway 10 and County Highway M Thursday, September 20th.

The crash occurred just before 12:30 Thursday afternoon.

Officials say a 61-year-old Edgar man failed to yield the right of way to a semi driven by a 34-year-old Oshkosh man.

In a statement, Calumet County Sheriff’s officials said one man was transported to the hospital via Flight for Life, but it is unclear at this time which of the men was seriously injured. The second man was not taken to a hospital.

Officials say their investigation into this incident is ongoing.
