Greendale H.S. homecoming dance location moved

GREENDALE -- The Greendale High School homecoming dance, set for Saturday, September 22nd, has been moved from the high school gym to the Greendale Middle School.

The change was made because of a written message that contained a vague threat about disrupting homecoming activities.

On Friday, the lunch period and hallways at GHS were restricted. But the pep assembly was held as scheduled. All other activities will also be held as scheduled.

Because the investigation into the threat is not complete, GHS will be locked down on Saturday, September 22nd. As an added precaution, the homecoming dance is now moved to the Greendale Middle School -- which was secured Friday evening.

If you have information that could help investigators in this case, you're urged to call 414-491-6034.
