SHEBOYGAN CO. — A 23-year-old man was killed in a single-car crash in Sheboygan County on Sunday, September 23rd.

The wreck happened around 8 a.m. at the intersection of County Road S and Forest View Road, near the west county line.

Officials have identified the victim as Timothy Bartline of the Town of Scott.

Bartline had been driving a 2001 Kia four-door vehicle northbound on Forest View Road and crested a hill. Due to what appears to be high speed, the vehicle lost control, entered the east ditch, struck some trees, spun and then struck a larger tree where it came to rest.

Officials say Bartline was the sole occupant of the vehicle.

Sheriff’s officers along with the State Patrol, Fond du lac County Sheriff’s officers,  Kewaskum First Responders and Kewaskum Ambulance responded to the scene.
