TOWN OF LEROY — Three people were hurt in the Town of LeRoy Saturday, September 22nd when a car struck the back-end of a trailer loaded with hay.

The wreck happened in the intersection of Lomira Dr. and County Highway V in Dodge County. The collision caused the hay trailer to overturn.

The driver of the car, 31-year-old Darvin Rickert of Fond du Lac, was flown by Flight for Life to Theda Clark Hospital in Neenah. Two minors in the car (ages eight and 10) suffered non-life-threatening injuries — and were taken to St. Agnes Hospital.

The driver of the truck hauling the hay trailer, Thomas Gruenberger of Campbellsport, was not hurt.

The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Crash Investigation Team.
