Canine sweep conducted at Greendale High School Monday

GREENDALE -- Greendale police and the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department conducted a canine sweep at Greendale High School Monday morning, September 24th.

The canine sweep comes just days after a threatening message was found written in a bathroom at the school. The message was found just after 2 p.m. last Thursday and indicated a possible threat to the school. This, as students were celebrating Homecoming week.

GHS moved the homecoming dance from the high school to the middle school as a precaution.

Anyone with information into this threat is asked to contact Greendale High School Principal Steve Lodes at (414) 423-0110, ext. 4302.
