Police say customer shot during robbery of Maen Food Store

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police are investigating the shooting of a customer at a small grocery store Saturday, October 6th.

Police say the 35-year-old man was shopping at the “Maen Food Store” near 12th and Chambers when a gunman fired, grazing the customer. Police say they believe this shooting was the result of a robbery of the store.

The victim was treated at the hospital and is expected to be okay.

Police have not indicated whether the gunman was taken into custody.
