54-year-old South Milwaukee man struck, killed by vehicle

GREENFIELD — Police say a 54-year-old South Milwaukee man was struck and killed by a vehicle on Loomis Road near 46th Street on Monday, October 15th.

The man was struck just after 3:00 p.m. Monday near W. Loomis and S. Layton.

The driver of the vehicle involved is a 31-year-old Greendale woman. She was headed northbound on W. Loomis and was changing lanes when her vehicle struck the man.

Police say the woman cooperated with police and there were no signs of impairment.

Police say no arrests were made, and the investigation is ongoing. The Wisconsin State Patrol has been called in to assist in the investigation.
