3-3 Packers take on 3-3 Rams in St. Louis Sunday afternoon

ST. LOUIS -- Two teams with equal records meet Sunday, October 21st at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis in Week Seven of NFL regular season play. The Green Bay Packers (3-3) take on the St. Louis Rams (3-3) for the final road game in their three-game trip.

Sunday's game kicks off at noon, and will be the third consecutive game the Packers have played inside a dome.

Green Bay is heading into the game vs. the Rams following a 42-24 victory at Houston vs. the Texans last week. Houston had previously been undefeated. This game marked the first time since 1997 that the Pack beat an undefeated team with five or more wins.

The St. Louis Rams are undefeated at home so far this season.

When the Packers and Rams met in 2011, St. Louis visited Lambeau Field in Week Six -- a game the Packers won 24-3. That win gave the Pack their first 6-0 start since 1965. QB Aaron Rodgers threw a 93-yard TD pass to WR Jordy Nelson in the second quarter, the fourth-longest completion in team history. Rodgers threw for 310 yards and three TDs on the afternoon, with all three TD throws coming in the first half. CB Sam Shields intercepted a Sam Bradford pass, part of a defensive effort that limited the Rams to just a 36-yard Josh Brown FG on the day.

Rams head coach Jeff Fisher is in his first year this season -- previously serving as head coach for the Tennessee Titans for 17 seasons (through 2010). Fisher guided the Titans to six playoff appearances, three division titles, two AFC Championship games and one Super Bowl appearance.

Following the Ram's game, the Packers return home for the first time in nearly a month to host the Jacksonville Jaguars at noon on Sunday, Oct. 28th. It will be the first of two straight home games for the Packers.
