Two motorcycle operators injured after crash in West Allis

WEST ALLIS -- West Allis police responded to a crash involving two motorcycles just before 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 21st in the 8900 block of W. Greenfield Ave.

Police say two motorcycles were headed eastbound on W. Greenfield Ave. when one of the motorcycle operators struck the other motorcycle, causing the operator to lose control.

The motorcycle then veered into oncoming westbound traffic, striking a vehicle. The motorcycle's operator was thrown from the bike. The operator was taken to Froedtert Hospital and is listed in critical condition.

The operator of the striking motorcycle was also thrown from his vehicle. The unattended motorcycle then traveled eastbound and struck a parked vehicle, and then went into the westbound lanes and struck another vehicle traveling westbound.

The operator of the striking motorcycle was also taken to Froedtert Hospital with non life threatening injuries.

There were no reports of any injuries to any other individuals.

Police have not yet released the identities of any of the individuals involved.
