Benefit scheduled in honor of Azana Salon & Spa shooting victims

BROOKFIELD -- A benefit has been organized for the victims of the shooting at the Azana Salon & Spa in Brookfield.

Three were killed (including the gunman's wife, Zina Haughton) and four were injured in the shooting -- before the gunman turned the gun on himself. All four injured have been treated and released from the hospital.

The benefit is scheduled for Sunday, November 18th at the Bullwinkles/Panos Banquet Center, located at 20290 W. Bluemound Road in Brookfield.

The event will run from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and is open to the public. A raffle drawing will be held at 5:00 p.m. and a silent auction at 5:45 p.m.

Additionally, 30+ vendors will be on hand, and will donate a portion of their proceeds to this event.

Organizers are asking for  $5 donation at the door.

Several auction items will be available, including Milwaukee Brewers items, Green Bay Packers items, an iPad, hotel stays, gift certificates, etc.

The event will also feature live entertainment, a cash bar, refreshments, chair massages and more.

100% of the proceeds from this benefit will go toward those injured and the families of those killed in the shooting.

A representative from the Sojourner Family Peace Center will be on hand to provide domestic violence resources.
