Family Guy to broadcast 200th episode Sunday, November 11th

Family Guy -- an animated series on FOX is celebrating a milestone this month: 200 episodes and 11 seasons!

The Sunday-night staple continues to entertain fans with its outrageous humor, cutting-edge animation and epic episodes.

Since its debut, the show has reached cult status among fans, and its breakout star -- a talking baby named Stewie has become one of the greatest TV villains of all time.

Family Guy has racked up numerous awards, including an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series -- only the second animated series in television history to be honored with such a distinction.

The show follows the adventures of an endearingly ignorant dad, Peter Griffin and his hilariously odd family of middle-class New Englanders in Quahog, RI. Lois is Peter's wife -- a stay at home mom with no patience for her family's antics. Then there are their kids: 17-year-old Meg -- a social outcast and the Griffin family punching bag, 13-year-old Chris -- a socially awkward teen who doesn't have a clue about the opposite sex, and one-year-old Stewie -- a diabolically clever baby whose burgeoning sexuality is very much a work in progress. Rounding out the Griffin household is Brian -- the family dog -- a member of Mensa with a penchant for dry martinis and dumb blondes.

In addition to the regular cast, Family Guy has featured guest voice appearances by a long list of notables, including Cheryl Tiegs, Drew Barrymore, Chevy Chase, Dan Aykroyd, Anne Hathaway, Robert Downey Jr., Rob Lowe, Hugh Hefner, Will Ferrell, Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel, Kiefer Sutherland, James Woods, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and the legendary rock group KISS.

Family Guy is a 20th Century Fox Television production. Seth MacFarlane is creator/executive producer. Mark Hentemann and Steve Callaghan serve as executive producers/showrunners, while Chris Sheridan, Danny Smith, Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild are executive producers.

Family Guy's 200th episode will air on FOX6 Sunday, November 11th.
