Support troops, veterans at Milwaukee Veterans Day Parade

MILWAUKEE — The public is invited to turn out in downtown Milwaukee on Saturday, November 10th to watch the 49th annual Milwaukee Veterans Day Parade & Day of Honor.

The parade is set to begin at 11 a.m. The parade route begins at 4th and Kilbourn. The parade route takes a slight jog to the south on Plankinton before heading east on Wells St. The parade route eventually winds its way to Veterans Park on Milwaukee’s lakefront.

The parade is expected to last until to an hour-and-a-half. All cross streets to the parade route will close approximately 20 minutes prior to the start of the parade.

After the parade, veterans and active duty troops are invited to visit the Harley-Davidson Museum and the Milwaukee Art Museum free of charge.
