Saturday is National Unfriend Day for Facebook users

MILWAUKEE -- It's probably not marked on your November calendar. But Saturday, November 17th is National Unfriend Day for Facebook users; a day to remove "friends" who don't really belong on your list anymore.

The movement was started back in 2010 by TV star Jimmy Kimmel. He encouraged Facebook users to thin their "friend" numbers; to unfriend users who talk about useless information. He said, who truly has hundreds of friends in real-life.

Before you begin dropping a number of your "friends," make sure you're doing it for the right reasons. The last thing you want to do is create a major rift among true friends right before the holidays.
