Police investigating threats, Coggs Center closed early Tuesday

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating threats made by a suspect via social media Tuesday morning, November 27th. The threats were reportedly directed at the area of 12th and Vliet.

Police say there was no direct threat made to the Marcia P. Coggs Center, but Milwaukee County officials made the decision to close the building at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say they are seeking a suspect who is familiar to the department for "similar activities in the past."

A spokesman for Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele says employees will be paid for a full day's work.
