Police investigate fatal shooting near 102nd & Fond du Lac Ave.

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred at the Arbor Gardens Apartments on W. Fond du Lac Avenue Wednesday morning, December 5th.

Officials say they were called to the scene at approximately 12:20 a.m. Upon arrival, police found a man dead in a first floor unit. Authorities say the victim sustained a gunshot wound to the head.

At this time, detectives from the police department's Criminal Investigation Bureau along with District Four officers are investigating the incident. Officials say the shooting was not a random act.
