GREENDALE — Southridge Mall in Greendale celebrated the completion of its large-scale renovation with a ribbon cutting on Thursday morning, December 6th.
The renovation included the creation of many family-friendly amenities, a complete redesign of all mall entrances, a complete redesign of the mall’s food court, new floor tiling, carpeting and lighting, all iron railings replaced with contemporary glasswork, and many more seating areas with plantwork. There’s even a new children’s play area with a trackless train.
Southridge operators also revealed a list of new tenants coming to the mall. They include…
- Buca di Beppo: Casual dining Italian restaurant scheduled to open at Southridge Mall in 2013.
- Ann Taylor LOFT: Women’s specialty retail fashion brand opens in February 2013.
- LongHorn Steakhouse: Set to open in spring 2013, it’s known for fresh steaks that are boldly hand-seasoned and grilled.
Old Navy is also returning to Southridge Mall with a new storefront in the lower level near Macy’s. That’s coming in 2013.
“What you’re seeing here is the revitalization of Southridge Mall. It is gonna drive a lot of change throughout the region. Not only in the region, but you’ll see the competing malls starting to make changes because they’ll see Southridge is on the move,” Village of Greendale President John Hermes said.
