Workers try to get their jobs back at Palermo's Pizza

MILWAUKEE -- Workers trying to get their jobs back at Palermo's Pizza in Milwaukee held a protest on Monday, December 17th. They're trying to get the chance to vote on a union. But the company says the protesters are actually standing in the way of that vote.

More than four dozen people lined up on Monday across the street from Palermo's to encourage continued support for their boycott of the pizza maker.

75 former workers led by Voces de la Frontera are appealing a recent National Labor Relations Board decision to dismiss claims filed by the group alleging the company violated federal labor law.

That appeal, according to Palermo's, is preventing an election involving current employees.
