James Esselman sentenced to 12 years in prison

PORT WASHINGTON -- An Ozaukee County judge sentenced James Esselman on Tuesday, December 18th to 12 years in prison and 13 years of extended supervision. This, after Esselman pleaded no contest to charges of first-degree sexual assault of a child.

Esselman was accused of sexually assaulting a five-year-old girl during a visit she made in January 2012.

Back in January, police executed a search warrant on Esselman’s home, and Esselman was arrested on multiple counts of child sexual assault, and possession of child pornography.
