28-year-old man dead following traffic crash on city's east side

MILWAUKEE --A 28-year-old Milwaukee man died Tuesday night, December 18th following a traffic accident on the city's east side.

Officials say 28-year-old Keena Green was traveling eastbound on E. Reservoir St. when he struck a round-about head-on. Police say his vehicle rolled multiple times before striking a utility pole and the corner of an apartment building.

Authorities say at some point during the collision Keena was ejected from the vehicle.

Prior to the accident, officials say Keena was apparently at the Total Game Sports Bar located at 1806 N. Dr. Martin Luther King Drive. According to police, Keena's girlfriend came to the bar, noticed Keena had been drinking, and offered to drive him home. Keena refused to get into her car.

Police say Keena got into his own vehicle, and began traveling at a high rate of speed. Keena's girlfriend allegedly began to follow Keena home, however, due to Keena's speed she was unable to keep up.

Police say Keena's girlfriend came upon the accident while following him home and called 911.

The Medical Examiner says Keena Green died from blunt force head injuries.
