MILWAUKEE — Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee has been seeing all rain all day. Because of that, most flights are arriving as scheduled on Thursday morning. However, flight departures are beginning to show more cancellations for the afternoon hours.

One flight arriving from Chicago around 10:30 a.m. was listed as delayed. Another two United flights from Chicago, one at 11:17 a.m. and another at 3:53 p.m., were cancelled altogether. Also cancelled, a United flight arriving from Denver at 2:03 p.m.

As for departures, the only morning flights cancelled were headed to Rhinelander and Chicago. Afternoon departures are appearing to be a little more problematic. There are already cancelled flights to Los Angeles, Atlanta, St. Louis, Fort Meyers and Las Vegas.

If you have plans to leave Milwaukee on Thursday, December 20th, you’re urged to check with the airport or your airline. There’s a possibility with the weather changing, the flight status may change as well.
