BURLINGTON — Racine County Sheriff’s officials say a truck hit a pedestrian near the intersection of Ketterhagen Road and Crossway Road in Burlington just before 4:00 a.m. Christmas Day.

Officials say two men who are believed to be father and son were arguing while on the road and possibly fighting, which led to the pickup truck coming to a stop.

Officials say the son exited the pickup truck and the father was trying to drive away, but ended up hitting the son with the truck.

The son was taken to the hospital, and was transported via Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital. He is believed to be in stable condition.

The father was arrested and is being held on charges of misdemeanor battery, recklessly endangering safety and disorderly conduct.
