CEDARBURG — The Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office is involved in the search for a missing 24-year-old man who went missing in Cedarburg around 2 a.m. on Thursday, December 27th.

Robert Steinbrecker was last seen at Cedar Creek near Boy Scout Park in Cedarburg. He was walking with two friends towards his residence in the Town of Cedarburg. He apparently ran away from them for an unknown reason.

Steinbrecker is described as a male, white, about six feet tall, with red, shoulder-length hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark-green, heavy parka-like jacket, a Packers knit hat, black tennis shoes, an off-white button-up shirt with a black t-shirt underneath, and brown pants.

The search for Steinbrecker was suspended Friday evening because officials say they have no leads.

Anyone with information about Steinbrecker’s whereabouts is urged to call the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office at 262-284-7172.
