MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police arrested former NBA star Latrell Sprewell on the city’s lower east side on Monday, December 31st. This, after they were dispatched to a call of loud music coming from a home.

Officers were dispatched to a home near Humboldt and Pleasant St. shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Officials say this was the second time that officers responded to a call of loud music within an hour — and officers have been sent to multiple reports of loud music coming from this residence over the last several months.

42-year-old Sprewell was at the home at the time and was arrested for Disorderly Conduct around 4:15 p.m. on Monday.

A neighbor told FOX6 News he witnessed the incident.

“Every time he was home, it seemed like the music was really loud. It did actually rattle his windows sometimes. He just took advantage of having a house where he could play loud music all the time regardless of the nine units that are facing him. It seems like, so elementary to just turn the music down. I just hope he learns a lesson and chalks it up as a learning experience. He’s making it a lot harder on himself than it has to be,” the neighbor said.

The investigation will be reviewed by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
