Ozaukee Co. investigators asking for help in search for missing man

OZAUKEE CO. -- The Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office is asking all residents living adjacent to Cedar Creek to check their property for signs of Robert Steinbrecker. The 24-year-old man went missing in Cedarburg around 2 a.m. on Thursday, December 27th.

Steinbrecker was last seen at Cedar Creek near Boy Scout Park in Cedarburg. He was walking with two friends towards his residence in the Town of Cedarburg. He apparently ran away from them for an unknown reason.

Steinbrecker is described as a male, white, about six feet tall, with red, shoulder-length hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark-green, heavy parka-like jacket, a Packers knit hat, black tennis shoes, an off-white button-up shirt with a black t-shirt underneath, and brown pants.

Investigators are urging anyone living adjacent to the creek to check outbuildings, wooded areas and other places of shelter for any signs of Steinbrecker.
