Packers fans turn out for pep rally in Titletown

GREEN BAY -- Packers fans are getting fired up for Saturday's big game against the Minnesota Vikings by taking part in a pep rally on Friday afternoon, January 4th.

Dozens of fans braved the cold, winter air and gathered in downtown Green Bay to share their love of the green and gold. It was not a huge crowd but they were loud and energetic.

A street was shut down near the Brown County Courthouse for the rally. That's so fans could sing, run through some cheers, and even do the polka together.

Packers President Mark Murphy also turned out. Speaking from the back of a pickup truck, he said he's confident the Packers will play well. But still, players need the support of fans at Lambeau.

"It really is gonna be exciting tomorrow night. It’s not often you get to play a team two weeks ago. We’re disappointed we lost out in Minneapolis, but we have them at Lambeau Field tomorrow night in the cold. We’re gonna get 'em," said Murphy.

A Packers victory over the VIkings will send Green Bay to San Francisco next weekend. Fans aren't even considering the idea of a Packers loss.
