Marquette tops Pittsburgh in OT, 74-67

PITTSBURGH (WITI) -- The Marquette Golden Eagles got a critical road victory against Pittsburgh on Saturday, January 12th -- and they did it in overtime winning 74-67.

Vander Blue scored 22 points on the day. But on the down side, Junior Cadougan left the game in the first half with an  ankle injury.

Lamar Patterson's 3-pointer as time expired sent the game to the extra five minute session.   

Saturday's victory was Marquette's third straight in the Big East. The team remains undefeated in the conference at 3-0, 12-3 overall.
