School cancelled Thursday at Kettle Moraine H.S. due to threat

WALES (WITI) -- School has been cancelled for Thursday, January 17th at Kettle Moraine High School due to a threat made specific to Thursday. School is also cancelled Thursday at Wales Elementary School. 

Kettle Moraine Superintendent Pat Deklotz told FOX6 News officials do not believe the threat is credible at this time, but are cancelling evening activities Wednesday night and school Thursday as a precaution -- because this threat is so specific.

Staff members and parents have been notified.

"We are taking every precaution that was necessary to give people that peace of mind that everything is going to be okay at school," Deklotz said.

Exams scheduled for Thursday, January 17 have been rescheduled to Friday, January 18, 2013. Revised exam schedules will be will be posted to the high school website. 

Deklotz told FOX6 News the schools are expected to be open on Friday.
