Panthers conquer Vikings, get 1st league win, 69-57

MILWAUKEE -- Coach Rob Jeter's UW Milwaukee Panthers got off the deck and earned their first Horizon League win of the season, 69-57 over Cleveland State on Thursday night at the Klotsche Center.

The hosts were lifted by 12 -for-25 3-point shooting and 31 points from their reserves.

Freshman Austin Arians came off the bench to register career highs of 19 points and nine rebounds.  Paris Gulley added 17 points and eight rebounds for the Panthers (5-13, 1-3).

UW-Milwaukee had 19 assists against the Vikings, one more than they had recorded in their first three Horizon League games combined.
