Brewers, Axford agree to one-year, $5 million deal

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Milwaukee Brewers agreed to a one-year contract with relief pitcher John Axford. It's reportedly valued at $5 million.

Axford tweeted the following after news of the contract deal was publicized: "BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM! So pumped right now! #ILoveMilwaukee"

RHP Burke Badenhop and RHP Marco Estrada also agreed to one-year contracts -- and avoided arbitration.

The Brewers do not have any remaining arbitration-eligible players.
