Delvin Williams (1-25-13)

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Law enforcement officials are looking for 33-year-old Delvin Williams.

Detective Phil Carini with the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force says Williams was working at a business, helping to sell apparel, but eventually, Williams violated his parole.

Allegations of battery to vandalism played a role in Williams eventually wearing the label "fugitive."

Investigators say in January of 2000, Williams and another man broke into a home on Milwaukee's south side. The criminal complaint in the case indicates they slipped into a basement window -- believing they would find drugs and cash. Instead, each found a gun.

Then, someone came home and interrupted the two. Both were startled and Williams told police his gun went off. What stood between the bullets and a fatal situation for the man who returned home was a door that happened to be closed.

Williams eventually got out of prison and got a job, but allegations of trouble began to pile up. In the fall of 2012, Williams vanished.

Williams is 6'3" tall and weighs about 180 pounds. He has a tattoo on his neck that says "Keith."

Officials believe he may be hiding out on the city's south side.
