Loved ones gather to remember missing man, Nick Wilcox

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Nick Wilcox has been missing since New Year's Eve, but his family and friends aren't giving up. On Wednesday, January 30th, they hosted a vigil in Wilcox's honor, and announced a search fund has been established.

Wilcox's loved ones gathered Wednesday evening inside Rusty's in downtown Milwaukee. The spot is blocks from where Wilcox was last seen after a New Year's night of drinking at the Irish Rec Room.

"We're just basically here to support one another get through this together, and show the community that we haven't given up and that we're sill out here and still need their help," Wilcox's girlfriend Kelly McGonagil said.

The fund that has been established is to assist with the search efforts. Right now, McGonagil says there are no specific motives for money.

"Just general search efforts. Maybe it'll be for a reward in the future, but other than that, just general search aid. We haven't found him yet and we just wanna keep people aware so if they hear or see anything they can come forward," McGonagil said.
