28-year-old man dead following single-vehicle crash

KENOSHA CO. (WITI) — 28-year-old John Engberg of the City of Burlington died following a single-vehicle traffic accident Sunday, January 3rd.

According to police, Engberg was traveling in the 4000 block of CTH W around 10 p.m. when his vehicle left the road and struck a utility pole.

Flight for Life was notified, but was unable to take off due to weather conditions. Silver Lake Rescue transported Engberg to Burlington Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police say roads were snow-covered at the time of the incident. Alcohol is believed to have been a factor.
