No Net Gains, Bucks Lose

BROOKLYN- In their first game back from the NBA All-Star break, the Bucks suffered a crunching 113-111 overtime loss in Brooklyn. The same two teams will play again Wednesday night in Milwaukee.

Brandon Jennings led the way for the visitors with 34 points, but he missed a runner late in regulation.  However, in his return from a four game absence due to a back injury, Larry Sanders tipped in the miss for a 103-102 lead. Jennings then added two free throws, only to see Joe Johnson nail three pointer at the buzzer to force overtime at 105.

In the extra period, it was 111-111 when Johnson came through again, this time on a tough jumper against Luc Richard Mbah a Moute's defense. That was the game winner, sending the Bucks down for the fifth time in six games.  It was Milwaukee's first loss to the Nets in 14 games.
