Firefighters douse fire in basement of Greenfield home

GREENFIELD (WITI) -- Firefighters were called to a Greenfield home for a report of a basement fire late Saturday, February 23rd.

Officials say the fire broke out around 11:30 p.m. and the people living in the home got out safely.

Fortunately, the fire did not spread -- and firefighters were able to bring the fire under control rather quickly.
