Milwaukee Air & Water Show

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — The U.S Air Force Thunderbirds are scheduled to be the featured attraction at the 2013 Milwaukee Air & Water Show. But there has been concern that federal spending cuts could put an end to the air team’s season.

Paul Rogers, President for the Milwaukee Air & Water Show, issued a statement on Friday, March 1st. He said the Thunderbirds “have not been directed to cancel their entire 2013 show season.”

Rogers says he will continue to provide the media with updates on the impacts due to sequestration cuts. In the meantime, he and his show organizers are moving forward with the Milwaukee Air & Water Show schedule.

The Milwaukee Air & Water show is set for August 3rd and 4th on the city’s lakefront.
