Man stabbed in robbery attempt on Milwaukee’s north side

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — A 56-year-old Milwaukee man was stabbed and wounded at a gas station parking lot on the city’s north side early Monday, March 5th.

Police say the suspect attempted to rob the victim around 6 a.m. near 29th and Fond du Lac while threatening him with a knife. When the victim resisted the robbery the suspect stabbed him, causing non-life threatening injuries.

Officers quickly arrived and arrested the suspect, a 27-year-old Milwaukee man.  Detectives continue to investigate whether the suspect is responsible for other robberies.
