Waukesha Co. roads are snow-covered, slippery

WAUKESHA CO: (WITI) -- Roads in Waukesha County are already snow-covered and slippery as of 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 5th.

FOX6 Photojournalist Jeff Frings was driving around the southern part of Waukesha County during FOX6 News at 11. He indicated the road surfaces are definitely slippery. But he also indicated the bigger issue for drivers might be visibility. That's because the snow is flying sideways -- and when bigger vehicles pass by, then can throw slush and snow onto a windshield.

Drivers are urged to use caution and allow extra travel time throughout Tuesday afternoon.
