Police need help to identify armed robbery suspect

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Milwaukee Police are attempting to identify the suspect responsible for the armed robbery that happened shortly after 7:30 p.m. on March 18th at the Family Dollar store located near 79th and Burleigh.

The suspect entered the store, approached the cashier and demanded money while armed with a black handgun. The suspect obtained money and fled from the store.

The suspect is described as a black male, 6’2″ to 6’4″, medium build, wearing a black hooded jacket with distinctive white stripes, gray sweatpants, and a mask.
