Man shot, wounded at bar on Milwaukee's south side



MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that happened at a tavern near 1st and Lapham on the city's south side early Saturday morning, March 23rd.

A 35-year-old man who is an employee of the bar was shot once in the hand when a suspect fired several rounds into the closed bar from the street just before 3 a.m.

The suspect, who is known but not yet in custody, then fled.

The victim was conveyed to a hospital where he was treated for his injuries and released.
