Fans pack Miller Park on Opening Day, hope for a Brew Crew win

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- It is officially Brewers season! The Brew Crew opened their season at Miller Park on Monday, April 1st -- taking on the Colorado Rockies. The stadium was packed with fans hoping for a Brew Crew win!

Inside Miller Park, in Section 112, three Brewers faithful and their MVP enjoyed the game on Monday afternoon.

Hans Felton of Wausau and his friends carried a bust of Ryan Braun into the stadium -- seemingly for good luck for the Crew.

"All you need is a picture of Braun to become famous I guess! I call myself Hans Braun Felton. I mean, that's my name on Facebook. That's his middle name on Facebook -- so it's gotta be real right?" Felton said.

Felton says he and his friends -- like many, have been waiting forever for baseball!

"I've never been to Opening Day before, and I really like this atmosphere," one fan said.

Of all the faces in the crowd at Miller Park on Monday, Felton said he hoped Braun would notice his.

"I'm hoping to come back for bobble head day for Braun," Felton said.
