In business news for Thursday, April 25th, 2013 -- Central Greens, a new indoor fish and farming business has opened on 51st and Bluemound -- and operates on aquaponics.

Layton Fruit Market and Outpost Natural Foods have signed on as customers. The company is talking to other potential customers, mostly grocers, and hopes to eventually ink some deals with local restaurants.

"Without Central Greens, we wouldn't have much of any local year-round supply and we would be forced to import the majority of our local produce from Mexico and California and that would not be really great for the environment," Bowen DorenBrook with Central Greens said.
