MILWAUKEE (WITI) — The Marquette University men’s basketball team will be honored on the field before the Milwaukee Brewers vs. Pittsburgh Pirates game on Monday, April 29 at Miller Park.

Marquette head coach Buzz Williams will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game and members of the team will join Williams on the field for a pre-game recognition.

The on-field recognition will begin at approximately 7:00 p.m. (game time is 7:10 p.m.).

The Golden Eagles were the regular season BIG EAST co-champions and advanced to the Elite Eight in the NCAA Tournament last month.  The team finished with an overall record of 26-9 and currently has the second longest home winning streak in the nation at 25 games.
