Search is on for missing Sheboygan teenage girl, Keyona Marie Olden

SHEBOYGAN (WITI) -- Sheboygan police and family members are pleading for information to help locate 16-year-old Keyona Marie Olden, who has been missing for a week.

Her mother, April Kohnke, is concerned about what could have happened to her daughter. "I feel deep in my heart that she's in danger," she said.

A vigil was held April 26th outside Olden's home. Friends and family prayed that she comes home unharmed.

A missing persons report filed with the Sheboygan Police Department indicates Olden was last seen around 9:30 p.m. on Friday, April 19th. At 12:30 a.m., Kohnke woke up to discover her back door unlocked and her daughter gone, leaving only with her iPod.

"The police have found out that she was meeting men off a website called meetme.com and I didn't know that," said Kohnke. She fears Keyona could be with someone much older.

More than 3,000 flyers have been distributed around Sheboygan and neighboring towns in the hopes someone will recognize the teen.

Olden is described as a female, black, about 5'6" tall, and about 180 pounds. She has black, shoulder-length hair usually in a pony tail, brown eyes, and a pierced nose.

If you know the whereabouts of Keyona Olden, you're urged to call the Sheboygan Police Department at 920-459-3333.
