Three transported to hospital following crash near 57th & Villard

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Three people were  transported to a local hospital Friday morning, April 26th following a traffic accident.

According to police, a 63-year-old woman was traveling westbound on W. Villard when she was struck by a 32-year-old woman traveling southbound on N. 53rd Street. The 32-year-old failed to yield the right away.

After the crash the 63-year-old woman continued westbound on W. Villard, crossing into oncoming traffic in the 5500 block.  She exited the roadway in the 5600 block of W. Villard and struck a 15-year-old male pedestrian.  The woman then struck a parked vehicle, and finally struck a tree at the corner of 57th and Villard.

The 63-year-old woman, the 32-year-old woman and the 15-year-old boy were all transported to a local hospital. The two women were treated and released. The 15-year-old boy is in stable condition.

The investigation is ongoing.
