Walworth man charged with possession of child pornography

WALWORTH (WITI) -- 25-year-old Parker Voltz of Walworth is charged with two counts of possession of child pornography and one count of sexual exploitation of a child. This, after police found images and video of child pornography on Voltz's computer.

According to the criminal complaint, officials conducted a search warrant of Voltz's home on April 16th. During the search, police found images and video of child pornography on Voltz's computer.

According to the complaint, Voltz later admitted to police that he found child pornography in the late summer of 2012 and would spend time online talking to other people and getting advice on how to find child pornography.

Voltz also admitted that once he had video he would play them from his computer through a web cam for other people to view.

Voltz appeared in court on Thursday, May 2nd, where he was released on $2,500 bond. He is expected back in court on June 7th.

If convicted on all counts, Voltz could face up to $100,000 in fines or 40 years in prison.
