MILWAUKEE (WITI) — After a recent series of scary events, including the Boston bombings, one Wisconsin company is taking action to help keep you safe.

Security and Investigation Professionals is launching free civilian terrorism awareness training courses. The company says similar seminars are taught in countries around the world.

The classes give basic tips to identify suspicious people and packages, and teach the steps you should take to keep you safe.

“If something doesn’t look right, don’t go and investigate it if you don’t feel you should. Report it. If you see something, say something,” said Juan Herrejon, President of Security and Investigation Professionals.

The company will hold free classes for any group of five or more people.
