Franklin police investigate robbery of KFC restaurant

FRANKLIN (WITI) — Franklin police are searching for suspects in the armed robbery of a Kentucky Fried Chicken near 27th and College on Friday, May 10th.

Officials say workers at the restaurant called 911 at 10 p.m. — saying the place had just been robbed.

Officers from the Franklin, Greenfield, and Oak Creek Police Departments, including a K-9 unit from Oak Creek, checked the neighborhood but were unable to locate the suspects.

Nobody was hurt during the robbery — and an undisclosed amount of cash was taken.
