FOX6 viewers aid in capture of Most Wanted fugitive

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Another of Wisconsin's Most Wanted has been captured, thanks to tips from FOX6 viewers.

29-year-old Jonathan Harris was profiled on FOX6's Wisconsin's Most Wanted on Friday, May 10th.

Officials call Harris a sexual deviant. He served time, but Marshals say he failed to serve his full sentence.

Harris is accused of violating his parole on multiple occasions and going off electronic monitoring back in January 2013.

"He does not obey the rules. It's something in his makeup. He's required by law to wear the GPS tracking device," Michelle Harings with the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force said.

Investigators accused him of twice sexually assaulting young teens. One charge took place in 2002 and the other in 2003.

Law enforcement says both his victims were only 14. Once he is accused of manipulating through the internet. Officials say a chat room led to an encounter and charges for Harris.

A FOX6 viewer reportedly saw Harris' profile on FOX6 News, recognized Harris on the street, and called police.
