FOX6 Web Fix: Class of 1943 finally has Prom

The true definition of "Senior Prom" was exhibited in New Haven, Connecticut recently, as a graduating class celebrated -- 70 years later!

There was dancing, chatting and laughing as the Hillhouse High School class of 1943 had their special day on Sunday night, May 19th.

The class never had Prom, since a majority of the students were enlisting in the military and sent to find in World War II around that time.

There were more than 1,000 in the graduating class.
