Real Pirates exhibit ending run at Milwaukee Public Museum

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Real Pirates exhibit is ending its run at the Milwaukee Public Museum on Memorial Day.

The exhibition tells the story of the crew aboard The Whydah, a real pirate ship that sank off the coast of Cape Cod almost 300 years ago.

There are interactive exhibits to make you feel like part of the crew, as well as a dozen multimedia galleries.

You can see weapons, jewelry, and treasures from all around the world while learning about everything from the slave trade in West Africa to the violent storm that sank the ship.

Be sure to check it out this weekend or you'll have to walk the plank.
